The stair below has some unusual but really nice finishes.
Eastern Stringers
The Stringers are called Eastern because the support runs under the treads. In this particular look, it appears that each tread is its own block. We have been seeing this more and more in modern looking stairs.
Often times the bottom of a stair is dry walled, so this one is very different because the tread and rise lines continue on the bottom as well. Read more »
