| The successful candidate will have the following qualifications |
- Background in Accounting would be an Asset
- Minimum 3-5 Years Office Management Skills
- Advanced Computer Skills in Microsoft
- Ability to communicate/work with a variety of people at all levels of business
- Team and solution oriented - a good command of the English language both written and oral
- Ability to deal with several assignments at once and to resolve conflict
- A strong eye for detail and Strong analytical skills

Junior Estimator / Draftsperson - Role Now Filled!
POSITION/TITLE: Junior Estimator/Draftsperson
DEPARTMENT: Estimating/Drafting/ Admin. Department, Calgary Office
REPORTS TO: Office Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Estimator is responsible for providing the Sales department with accurate estimates of the probable costs for post to post railing installations and stair manufacturing. The estimator will also assist in setting up and maintaining high standards in the Estimation department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare Estimates of costs for labour and material for post to post railing installations and for labour, materials and manufacturing time for stair carriages.
- Consult and communicate with the Sales & Drafting teams to ensure accurate estimates for standard and custom stair & railing quotes.
- Prepare contracts for presentation to customer.
- Effective communication with superiors, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the Company, along with a flexible attitude.
- Some AutoCad drafting may be required.
- Provide office personnel with administrative support and relief including but not limited to; typing of correspondence, internal memos, filing, data entry etc.
- Other office duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Post-secondary education or experience in the construction or related fields is an asset.
- Able to read & understand blueprints, sketches and diagrams is an asset.
- Must be able to use a variety of computer software programs including CAD drawing programs. Current AutoCAD is an asset.
- Strong math skills
- Must be meticulous and detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Must be a team player and willing to learn all aspects of the stair & railing processes.

Scheduling Coordinator - Role Now Filled!

| Basic Purpose |
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling the day to day work of the installation techs in consultation with the Installation Manager and is the main point of contact for all incoming communications in the Production Control Department. |
| Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Schedule railing installations:
- Answer phone & return calls
- Manage schedule requests via phone, email, fax and builder websites
- Find job package
- Schedule according to builder requested date, availability of material and installer ability in OWL
- Update Navision job card with scheduled install date
- Also schedule service work orders:
- Complete service work order forms as completely as possible
- Add service work order to OWL
- Consult with installation manager to schedule with installer or service tech
- Track jobs to ensure service is dealt with in a timely manner
- Also schedule temporary safety rail installations:
- Receive safety rail install requests from builders
- Find and attach drawing to safety rail request
- Obtain PO from builder if required
- Schedule with safety rail installation tech
- May schedule stair installations:
- Keep track of stair production schedule & communicate tentative production dates with builders
- Consult with field coordination manager to schedule stair installations with stair installation tech
- Work closely and collaboratively with both the Shipping/Receiving Department and Field Coordinators to complete all orders
- Key in orders and print off to shipping.
- Do picks, returns and write add ons.
- Post labour charges in Navision.
- Book hotels etc for installations out of town.
- Keep up with product knowledge in order to coordinate installations with Manufacturing Plant schedule: familiar with inventory components & codes as well as basic installation methods and ability to read plans.
- Effective communication with superiors, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the Company, along with a flexible attitude.
Other duties as assigned.
